Keeping the oil temperature in check helps to keep engine temperatures down. And everyone knows that oil's lubrication and friction reduction properties are directly related to the oil's temperature. As oil temperature goes up, lubrication properties break down and an oil's friction reduction properties are reduced. The best way to keep oil temperatures in check is with a oil cooler, and this oil cooler is a drastic improvement over the factory's.
